What a great meeting of hearts and minds today in our People’s Park. Considering the weather we had lots of volunteers from the local community and beyond who gave the park a good tickle as well a retrieving some larger items from the pond.
I worked under the watchful eye of Bill from Park Care to plant some water lilies deep under the water for them to brighten the place up in due course.
They will also serve to help reduce the algae bloom, and provide shelter for aquatic life. Thanks to Park Care for letting me help with the project and Lincolnshire Pond Plants Ltd
