Blow Well Monitoring Training
Every day is a school day. I spent some classroom time in the company of like-minded people being schooled in Blow Wells by the incomparable Will Bartle from Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project. Also were kindly gifted with a talk from Geologist Mike Oats.
We are now proud to wear the badge of Blow Well Monitors. For the foreseeable future we will each be conducting surveys on these rare gems that are almost exclusive to Lincolnshire because of our geology. The data recorded will serve to protect these wells long into the future. This is because we can flag up various issues for experts to plan the most effective ways to tackle them.
