I'm on a proper holiday 🤣No canoe, no tent, no bivvy with a substandard sleeping bag, an actual cottage with a roof and running water, thanks to the in-laws 👍So I'm in Warwickshire and, after a 5-mile solo hike, I've yet to find ANY litter, so it looks like, in between the daytime family stuff, I'll be spending dusk and dawn out with the camera, which is fine by me.I look forward to sharing a few bits and bobs as I go along.In the meantime, here's a GORGEOUS river i stumbled upon 💚P.S. My chuckle brother and partner in grime 🚮About a trillion years ago i kept on seeing this chap on Facebook trotting about collecting litter, with a cute labrador in tow 🐕His social media posts were clever, uplifting and funny. I was jealous and inspired in equal measure. I had two choices. Hire a hit man, or work with him. Due to the legal ramifications, I chose the latter and duly sent him a message to show my appreciation and try to forge a meet up.Now, whilst Zac is blisteringly funny and quietly confident, he's also unassuming and incredibly humble. He most likely wrestled with the decision to get involved with me, as i was, at the time, quite different in my approach.Thankfully, a few months later, we met up and Mrs Canoe had to accept that i had met my litterpicking husband 🤣All jokes and attempt at poetic storytelling aside, we've accomplished some great things that we are really proud of.
