Getting a pat on the back, be it an award, a thumbs up, or even someone stopping you in the street to say thank you means so much.
It reminds you that what you are doing is important and that you should absolutely keep doing it despite the struggles.
I’m genuinely grateful for this accolade and to have shared the stage with others on the front line.
