It’s All About The Kids But Also….
It’s clearly about the kids as education is vitally important. However, whilst it does start with the children it can also serve to give us adults a bit of a head check, especially when they go home and talk about the day they’ve just had.
Me and the gang from Orchard School had a fantastic morning as we walked our river Freshney towards Laceby. I spread myself thin and passed on my basic knowledge of chalk streams, blow wells, wildlife in the area, and the impact of litter. The boys then responded with an incredibly enthusiastic litter pick, which bagged us four massive sacks of discarded waste. Well done to all involved
